Renewable electricity generation is one of the main pillars in Repsol’s energy transition strategy and commitment to net zero emissions by 2050. In the United States, Repsol develops, operates and owns wind, solar and energy storage projects.

Approach

Repsol entered the North American renewables market in 2021. Today, we operate 1,400 MW of renewable energy capacity in the United States. Repsol aims to have an installed capacity of more than 3 GW of renewable energy in North America by 2027.
